The Secure Election Framework (SEF) is a comprehensive cybersecurity assessment framework developed specifically for election offices. It provides a structured, repeatable methodology for measuring and improving election security maturity across 22 key domains.

Developed by the Election Security Collective in partnership with election officials, the SEF is designed to be practical and accessible — whether your jurisdiction is a large county with a dedicated IT team or a small township with limited resources.
